AudioDigest: New Formats

The Health Sciences Library is now receiving AudioDigest series in Audio CD format. Test/evaluation forms for CME credits are also available. Current topics for our subscriptions:

• Emergency Medicine (July 7): Have medical bag, will travel: First aid kits for remote wilderness travel, and Hypothermia basics.


• Family Medicine (July 14): Summer hazards: Outdoor dermatitis, and Snakebites.


• General Surgery (July 7): Challenges in trauma


• Internal Medicine (July 7): Managing asthma in patients with comorbidities


• Orthopaedics (June): Focus on fractures

Library Web Page Revisions

Our web page has been revised to reflect changes in the way we access the Michigan eLibrary databases.

• Gale Virtual Reference Library and Health & Wellness Resource Center are now included in the GALE link.


• Michigan eLibrary will require a Michigan Driver's License or state ID number to log in.


• NetLibrary now requires either an individual login or a Michigan Driver's License number. Those with a Michigan Driver's License number can create their own individual logins. Please ask library staff if you need assistance with this process.
